About Us

UIC is a Bahraini insurance leader established to provide specialized motor insurance for travelers crossing the King Fahd Causeway since 1986.

Vehicle Insurance Policies

We offer Mandatory Third-Party Liability (TPL) for all vehicles and Comprehensive Insurance for enhanced protection.

The policy is issued based on the vehicle's country of registration. Vehicles with Bahraini plates are insured for travel into Saudi Arabia only, and vehicles with Saudi plates are insured for travel into Bahrain only. Vehicles from other countries can be insured for both Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Digital Services

Yes, you can issue and pay for your policy through our official app "Jisr Insurance - تأمين الجسر" available on App Store and Google Play. You can also use the Quick Insurance link (car.uic.bh), our official website, the Bahrain eGovernment portal (bahrain.bh), or the Saudi "Absher" platform.

No, the digital policy is linked to your vehicle plate number and is recognized by the authorities at the Causeway gate.
